Why hello there. Lauren was getting mad at me for saying I am going to blog but I never do. So here is a new post.
How am I you may wonder? Well I am not feeling to well. My aunt calls it the "swimmer gunk" But if you think about it, it is actually quite gross. Swimmers share everything. If you have ever been in a pool, have you ever notice that the people around you are constantly putting water in their mouth and spitting it out? That is the number one cause of sickness among swimmers. There can also be goobers that are so stinkin nasty. Eww I am gagging just thinking about it. ugh. ick, gross. School is swell. I got out of Sign Language and my life has been quite wonderful. I still have not accepted the thought of being a senior. I don't wanna grow up.sniff.sniff...
what else... humm....
Swimming is going wonderfully. Our girls team is looking quite strong. I am not going to lie, I have been very impressed with our young girls team. We are focused and have only lost to murry and skyline and brighton. So far so good:)
Oh Thanksgiving is coming up and I am so excited. I love food and I love to eat food. So it is a match made in heaven.... me and thanksgiving. YAHOO
I don't really know what this blog was aimed for but it is just a random one to ramble on whatever I want.

World Series Fever

I have been hooked on baseball for the past month. I have grown to like the team of Boston Red Sox. Many people don't like them because they always win. They are a very deep team and have some amazing batters. My favorite player is the catcher Jason Varitek. He is really cool. I think that the Red Sox are going to win tonight.

Strange Nights at Work

Last night at work was very strange. It all started around the 5 o'clock hour. I was sitting on the lifeguard stand as bored as can be thinking about a lot of stuff and picking at my finger nails. (sorry i know thats gross but what else do you do on the lifeguard stand when you are bored) One thought ran across my mind of what if we had a fire alarm go off. What do the lifeguards do? We don't really know whats going on... we don't know where the fires are... what do we do? After a while this thought left my mind. Later that night I was walking up front to the front counter to buy me a little treat. I smelled this strange smell... it smelled like smoke. Nothing was happening though so I thought it was okay. Just then the fire alarms go off and I thought this was really weird. I said I could smell smoke and I freaked one of the supervisors out and felt really bad. But it turned out to be a false alarm. I guess a 2 year-old kid pulled the alarm. But there was still a stench of smoke. The security guard was checking everywhere where the smelly air was coming from. Luckly there was nothing and it turns out that there was a fire somewhere in the neighborhood and the smoke drifted to our facility.
The weird thing was that I had thought of all this before it happened. Everything exciting seems to be happen of friday nights. Last week we had a guard jump in to rescue to girls and there was a 9 30. Last night was the fire alarm. A good co-worker friend of mine... we predicted what will happen next week. Since all of the staff will be gone to St. George for a swim meet, we predicted there is going to be a MAJOR 9 30. The old farts lifeguarding will have to deal with it and it will be so gross. Then the week after that? We don't know yet. I think about my job too much.

Lately I have noticed a recent increase in me watching football. I love to watch the Utes and NFL. It is just so cool. I am different from most girls my age. Summer Nights

I decieded to enjoy one of the few summer nights that are left. Soon I will be staying inside trying not to freeze. I had quite the night. I actually Lost my first game of HORSE. I have not lost FOREVER. Emily even beat me. But in the end, it was Father Stapley that won. Emily and I were high. We went to attack Lauren as she was studying. She too was enjoying the beautiful night. Here is a picture of her deep in her studies.
