Not Happy!!!

So we are pretty much at the end of summer schedule- My boss just put out the fall winter spring schedule. I requested to work at least 20 hours a week to hopefully make my 3000+ bucks by the beginning of january. I only got 12 hours. I don't think I will make 3000+ dollars by spring semester tuition. AHHHHHHHHHH! I am not very happy with my boss! I cannot believe it, by boss gave all these newer guards day shifts that I wanted. I have been working there for 5 years now and think that I definately have the senoirity and deserve these shifts. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

South Jordan Sacrament Meetings

So I don't know what it is, but when ever I go to a sacrament meeting in sacrament meeting in south jordan, someone always gives an interesting talk.
Today I went to a homecoming of a very close friend. His talk was very nice and super special. Well anyways, the next speaker gets up and is SOOOO loud, it made my heart skip a beat it was so loud. He gets up and introduces him self and starts right off the bat and says that he is running for some south jordan election. He goes off on something about how he is going to get the word out that he is running, then the bishop called him to speak in church. His direct quote "the bishop called me to speak and we will leave it at that" Ok people I personally think that chruch is NOT the place to campaign for elections. I thought it was absolutely ridiculous. Then this guy was talking about prayer or something, (i had a hard time paying attention because he was SOOOO loud) and he told us about his closet. He said that is closet was HUGE. (talk about bragging or prideful or something) and he just sounded like the perfect person who prays in their nice huge closet. But then he came back and said, "Now i am not trying to say i am better then you..." Yeah right... you need to sound perfect so you can win your stupid election... Anyways... random sunday story

Summer In Review

Man! Summer is coming to a close. Sad news, friends moving away, and the cold is just months away. But I am blogging to brag about my TOTALLY AWESOME SUMMER. I think this was by far one of the best summers for me. Wanna know just some of what I did?

Well, the ULTIMATE high light of my summer was definately the trip to Washington DC. It was probably something I will NEVER forget.

What else did I do this summer? I WORKED! A WHOLE LOT!!!! I'd say I wore a swimming suit 80-90% of the summer.

I also spent time with my friends. I'd have to say, I have some of the COOLEST friends ever. They are so cool and I know they will always be there if I need anything.

What did my friends do? We kidnap each other and stuff each other in Lauren's trunk, We loved to go and play at day break. Yes, we play at Day Break parks, AND we even went to the Day Break Lake. It was pretty awesome. And we ended the summer with a lovely trip to Texas Road house. Please note that we are just jokin around ALL the time....

And finally, I had a wonderful time just being with my family. My sister's and I escaped to southern Utah which was a total blast.

MAN this summer ROCKED!!! Definately a memorable one!

Wisdom Teeth Experience

So I got my wisdom teeth pulled today. I was lucky and had only 2 and they were on the top! Let me just say, I was SOOOOOOOOOOO nervous. So when I got there, they called me back when i got there. I sat on the chair and admitted that i was SOOOOO nervous. I stayed awake and they numbed my mouth REALLY good. So I sat on the chair and the tears were slowly started to form because I was in there without my Mother and Father so yeah it was scary. They began to shoot up my mouth with stuff and the tears started dripping from my eyes. The nurses were so nice, they got a tissue and dabbed my eyes for me. And they even let me listen to my ipod... THANK GOODNESS!. After they got my mouth all shot up, one of the nurses even massaged my head to help me zone out before the doc did his business. But they have that procedure down! Right when i opened my mouth for the doc to start working, they got one out quick as a wink. Then they got the other one out quickly. It only took like 15 minutes. Here is my dad's experience, he checked me in, When they called me back, he went to find the rest room, after the rest room, he went back to the waiting room, sat down, found a magazine, and then I was done and came walking out. But yeah, it is all done, my upper jaw is just a little stiff and it will probably be worse tomorow.... so we shall see

Oh and my swelling is not very bad....

Here is a picture of right after the procedure. Swollen just on one side... not to bad I'd say. But it has basically gone down.

Confession!

Ok so I have a confession... I have been on a Carrie Underwood fan high lately.... She is so pretty, humble, and has one heck of a voice... I have posted my favorite songs by Carrie Underwood.... I don't care if you don't listen to them, but listen to this first one because it is a beautiful hymn that she is singing and sounds amazing!!!!! Who would have ever thought that hymns could sound so pretty with a little country "twang".


This is my other favorite Carrie Underwood song... ahhh... i can't decide... she is just so good!!! I will put 2.... This first one is a little naughty but oh so fun to sing... hehehehehe

This last one is a very moving song... I don't even have words to describe it....I guess the words speak for its self. I guess this song was written for the kids in africa who have lost parents/loved ones to AIDS

SUMMER NIGHTS!!!

Oh man, I am lovin these sweet summer nights! I have spent a lot of time with friends this summer which has been pretty amazing and such a blast.... this is a little different music video then what you have all seen but I do have some RECENT summer videos of Lauren and I that I hope to post by the end of this weekend :
