Gosh this is hard

SO I am in college. But it is hard. I started off as a freshmen on a rough road... transitioning into it and what not. Then my down hill began to start coming up-hill. I was feeling ok about this whole college aspect and began passing classes with decent grades. Then the thought of having a major surgery came into play, I was a nervous wreck for a whole semester and classes were not in my favor. SO I have entered this fall semester with a "pumped" attitude wanting to try my best. Got the results of my first test back. Still below where I want to be, but I am not testing at the LOW end of the group anymore... mostly in the average group. Do I have to be that A student to graduate? If I do, I have a LONG ways to go. Am I the only student that struggles? I am frustrated because I am in my 3rd year and things are TOUGH! I guess college is just rough. I have set me a goal, from the rough turnout of last spring semester to just get B's and C's this fall. SO far I am a little discouraged but I have to remember, Its only the first tests, I have 2 more + the finals to improve on and get POINTS!!!!

I know exactly how you feel. I struggled big time last year, content with B's and C's. It's not so bad.

This year, though, I've started talking to professors more, and I study with other students in my classes...life is so much easier! A hard lesson to learn: you're not alone!

No - you don't have to get straight A's. I graduated with a 3.0 and would consider myself doing okay with life! My only advice is don't take 11 years to graduate like I did!

I believe in you, Napley. Just do your best. And take Nedge's advice. She knows a lot!

Being a student is not that easy, with all the projects & exams, but just do your best to study & to prepare everything beforehand. Don't easily give up. Strive harder and good luck!
