HIP HIP HORRAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK, well I look at my blog as a place to brag about myself. ANd then if people ever read my blog they can read about me bragging about myself.

Ok, so heres why Natalie is happy. Back in January-ish, Natalie went to a heart doc apt. THe doctors have been watching my heart, specifically my pulmonary valve since I can remember. WEll back in January, my apt kinda ffreaked my freak and made me cry. I was WAY overweight and had high cholestral. My heart condition was upgraded to a moderate. I know that probably does not sound bad, but it was mild, then they said it was moderate. So that to me ment that it was getting worse. After that appointment I decided to do something about it and made my goal for my july/august apt to hear good results.

So my mom and I set a goal back in january to start water aerobics. WE have become pretty consistant (except currently due to surgery recovery for my mother and summer work for me). ON top of that, I would do cycling classes. I DEFINATELY have cut back on the fast foods. I was bad for a while on that. Now its only once in a while. I usually eat pretty good, the thing that I think was killing me was portion size. SO I have tried my best to cut down on portion size. My job this summer has kept me VERY active. FOr my head guard shifts, I am on my feet walking for a good six hours. With swimming lessons, we are in the water for 8 hours a day twice a week water walking.

I think all of what I just described has played a huge factor in my results for my apt from today. I have lost........

20 POUNDS!!!
And the doc told me that my chlostral is down. There is one category that is just a little high, but the doc told me that if I keep up what I am doing, then it should decrease. AND to top that off, my heartt condition has gone back down to mild. I am soooooooo happy. I mean, I could still loose some poundage, but hey, I am happy that this diet and exercise is working.

Anyways, I love my blog and how I can brag about myself. HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAH

PEACE OUT

Summer 2011

Hello Blog! I have not forgotten about you I promise. I look at you and your friend blogs every day. I check on your friends. I don't know if your friends check on you thouh. :) just kidding

Well, the summer is coming to a close. I am starting my 4 year at the U. I just thought I should give an update on one of the best summers of my life.

It started off on May 12 pulling an unconscious dude out of the pool and having to completely revive him. I think I am over it emotionally altough the thoughts still come to me of how weird it was that it actually happened. I hope it is not bad to say that I am grateful that I got to go through that experience because I think it helped not only as an employee but as a person.

Later in May, I HAD to go to Glee in Vegas. BEST CONCERT EVER!!!!!!!!!! It rocked. I am a dork and words cant even describe how freakin cool it was.
I went to girls camp. No not as a Young Women, but as a leader. No not a ward leader, but a freakin Stake Leader. Holy cow i was over whelmed. Like why did they pick a little 21 year old to serve on a committe with adult women. I just had the job of being the river lifeguard. I did see my life flash before my eyes a couple of times. At this camp there is a set of couple missionaires who just live at this site for their mission. (at least that is what i understand) and well, the cute little sister, bless her heart, followed me and the nurse up to the entrance point of the river. My goal for this expedition was to wade out in the river and trim some branches that were hanging overhead so we didn't get girls eyes poked out. Well, i was going to float down a tube with a rope tied to me. As i start to float, RAPIDS catch me and i TOTALLY flipped out. THey grab the rope. I am lucky i didn't hit my head on the shallow rocks. Emily (my sister) was dying laughing while the missionary was WORRIED. but through all this she managed to get some pictures, then worry some more and get more pictures. Anyways, here are some pics from the experience.

Other things that happened this summer. I hung out with my friends ALOT! I truely have THE best friends in the world. They are all seriously like family to me and I know that I can go to them for ANYTHING. Here are a few pics of the things we did this summe
