Sorry, its been a while!

Sorry it has been a while since I last posted. I just had to write about the conversation of some scary girls that I overheard...

I was walking up the stairs to go to class and I am passing some girls in a circle. They all seem ticked off about something and as I was passing by, the only thing I hear is a girl saying, "I am not pregnant, I am not pregnant" I got really scared in my mind. It was weird.

On a pleasant note, I saw Hairspray for the first time and LOVED it. Zac Efron is really cute as well. hehehe but I would highly recommend seeing it:)

New Post

Why hello there. Lauren was getting mad at me for saying I am going to blog but I never do. So here is a new post.
How am I you may wonder? Well I am not feeling to well. My aunt calls it the "swimmer gunk" But if you think about it, it is actually quite gross. Swimmers share everything. If you have ever been in a pool, have you ever notice that the people around you are constantly putting water in their mouth and spitting it out? That is the number one cause of sickness among swimmers. There can also be goobers that are so stinkin nasty. Eww I am gagging just thinking about it. ugh. ick, gross. School is swell. I got out of Sign Language and my life has been quite wonderful. I still have not accepted the thought of being a senior. I don't wanna grow up.sniff.sniff...
what else... humm....
Swimming is going wonderfully. Our girls team is looking quite strong. I am not going to lie, I have been very impressed with our young girls team. We are focused and have only lost to murry and skyline and brighton. So far so good:)
Oh Thanksgiving is coming up and I am so excited. I love food and I love to eat food. So it is a match made in heaven.... me and thanksgiving. YAHOO
I don't really know what this blog was aimed for but it is just a random one to ramble on whatever I want.

World Series Fever

I have been hooked on baseball for the past month. I have grown to like the team of Boston Red Sox. Many people don't like them because they always win. They are a very deep team and have some amazing batters. My favorite player is the catcher Jason Varitek. He is really cool. I think that the Red Sox are going to win tonight.

Strange Nights at Work

Last night at work was very strange. It all started around the 5 o'clock hour. I was sitting on the lifeguard stand as bored as can be thinking about a lot of stuff and picking at my finger nails. (sorry i know thats gross but what else do you do on the lifeguard stand when you are bored) One thought ran across my mind of what if we had a fire alarm go off. What do the lifeguards do? We don't really know whats going on... we don't know where the fires are... what do we do? After a while this thought left my mind. Later that night I was walking up front to the front counter to buy me a little treat. I smelled this strange smell... it smelled like smoke. Nothing was happening though so I thought it was okay. Just then the fire alarms go off and I thought this was really weird. I said I could smell smoke and I freaked one of the supervisors out and felt really bad. But it turned out to be a false alarm. I guess a 2 year-old kid pulled the alarm. But there was still a stench of smoke. The security guard was checking everywhere where the smelly air was coming from. Luckly there was nothing and it turns out that there was a fire somewhere in the neighborhood and the smoke drifted to our facility.
The weird thing was that I had thought of all this before it happened. Everything exciting seems to be happen of friday nights. Last week we had a guard jump in to rescue to girls and there was a 9 30. Last night was the fire alarm. A good co-worker friend of mine... we predicted what will happen next week. Since all of the staff will be gone to St. George for a swim meet, we predicted there is going to be a MAJOR 9 30. The old farts lifeguarding will have to deal with it and it will be so gross. Then the week after that? We don't know yet. I think about my job too much.

Summer Nights

I decieded to enjoy one of the few summer nights that are left. Soon I will be staying inside trying not to freeze. I had quite the night. I actually Lost my first game of HORSE. I have not lost FOREVER. Emily even beat me. But in the end, it was Father Stapley that won. Emily and I were high. We went to attack Lauren as she was studying. Big Dogs Don't Swim

The funniest thing happened at polo practice this morning. So we are in the water doing leg work. I guess these two mysterious dogs wandered in from one of the gates that was opened. Well one of the dogs fell in the pool. It couldn't swim. It started panicing. My coach ran over and tried to make it hop out but it really couldn't swim. So he grabbed it by the neck and pulled it out. It was a huge dog too. Yes he was a hero. He said that we lifeguards could start grabbing patrons by the neck now if they don't cooperate. hehehe j/k.

This is a very scary thought... By the end of the summer I can honestly say that I spent probably 1/2 to 2/3 of my summer in a swim suit. ICK!!

Wow so the the funniest thing happened to me tonight. My mom chased me around the backyard! This happened to me because I stole the Firecrackers from her and she wanted them back. I didn't want her to get hurt but she didn't realize it. She seriously ran after me. I have NEVER seen my mom run. It was so funny. Then I had a beach ball and she grabbed it and kicked it away from me. Then the two of us went on a walk down the street and she goes up some neighbors driveway and stares at someone's backyard.
Well who cares about all these crazy stories... I love my mom no matter what crazy things she does. I would seriously die without her. Just one last random comment... its not everyday your mom wears a Harley Davidson shirt around the house.

Youth Conference Wrap Up

So the final day of Youth Conference... We had a major service project. I am telling the truth... I liked it alot. I feel good when I do service. It was a lot of work but we had a good time. Should I mention names on these blog thingys? I don't know so I will say... me and another lauerl and the Bishop's son were on sweeping crew. The bishop's son is the funniest kid I know. He kept us entertained while we were out there in the scorching heat sitting on the asphalt. We got a good job too because we didn't get in trouble for taking breaks due to the heat. Know what else I like? Being the last car load to places. Me and a friend got hooked up with slurpees on the way to dinner. We were late but the driver didn't care cause it was freakin hott.
At the church... we were able to hear from an EFY speaker (my 9th grade seminary teacher) Brother Rose. He is a pretty cool guy. I was glancing over at some of the leaders and they seemed to be a little bored. But hey... the youth were loving all his stories. I don't think that some adults realize that seminary teachers like to talk for 1/2 hour to 45 minutes about who knows what then they get to their spiritual moment. Oh well, I enjoyed it.
After dinner... the good old youth water fights break out. I don't like those because people do stupid things.
After a long weekend... we ended the events swimming at KOPFC. My stomping grounds. YAHOO. WE rented out 2 of the pools that night. It was a lot of fun. I jumped off the white platform for the first time. I don't think that I will ever do that again. It was quite a rush.
Overall... I have analyzed this youth conference. I think it was LETS SEE HOW TIRED WE COULD GET EVERYONE YOUTH CONFERENCE. I have to admitt... I was pooped. I think a lot of other people were pooped as well. Oh well... My hats off to everyone who put it together.

Youth Conference...

Thursday June 28... the first day of youth conference. Overall good day. We did baptisms for the dead at the Salt Lake Temple. It was very interesting. It felt so cool... words can't really describe it. I mean that we were in the orginal temple built by the pioneers. That was an astounding thought. I was feeling the spirit so much more for the baptisms then I ever have. The speaker before the ordinances told us some things that really got me thinking about the people that I doing the work for. He told us to try to picture what the people look like and what they are feeling as we were doing the ordinances. It was just so cool. I never really have done that either. Thinking about that totally brought a whole different spirit for me while I was there.
After the temple... we journeyed to some random church house. We were privilaged to have an EFY speaker. She was way cool and said a good message. After that we had a surprise activity of going to Boondocks... It was pretty fun...
Friday... They locked us up in the cars...eeeeeeekkkkkkkk. j/k and took us to Jordanelle resivouir. (deary... spelling terrible) It was pretty fun. I actually got sun burnt. It is not a pleasant feeling. I am still at this moment feeling the waves. They had this thing called a water rocket. It is like a banana with blue bouys on the side. Anyways we had like 5 of us on this not so big boat. On the boat we decided that it was boring to just go straight so the driver makes a pretty sharp turn. Of course we all go flying and we all crash in a clump. Something came down and smack me in the head. It hurt sooooo bad. I have a big old goose bump now on the side of my head. It does not feel pleasant. I think that I am going to be sore as well. I did a lot of tubing and my legs are still shaking. Now all the girls are at a big slumber party (which i was not able to stay over at due to the fact of lifeguarding stuff early in the morning) We had some wonderfull bonding times together. It was just so special to bond...awwwww
Overall I am going to admitt that this was not a bad youth conference at all. I have enjoyed every second of it so far. I will blog tomorrow to wrap it up.

Random Thoughts

I am coming foreward right now... I AM A SEMINARY NERD. But you know what? I don't care cause I work out. I think that the seminary teachers are a lot alike. They LOVE doughnuts and they are obessed with themselves...in a funny way though. For instance, the teachers that I know are obessed with being buff and how they don't want to show off the buffness. Some like to sing loud. They make fun of each other alot. Some are kind of weird but in a cool way. Just kidding. Seminary is great. If it weren't for the seminary atmosphere... I probably wouldn't make it through school.
Sweet Summertime! Wow summer is off to a uh a WONDERFUL start. I am really tired right now. My arms hurt and I smell like sun screen. Don't you just love that smell. I go and sit in the sun for 4-6 hours. I get a pretty nice tan. But its okay cause I work out. I think that our facility has gone mad. We are what like only 3 weeks into the summer and at work, we have had to call 911 three times already. ONE of which I was the main rescuer. I was scared to death. 'nough said there.
I believe that I have said this once before... I don't understand the female human mind. oh well...

YELLOWSTONE RECAP

So I went on a trip with the fam. We journeyed north to Yellowstone. I'd have to say an overall awesome trip. I have never been to Yellowstone so it was pretty darn cool. We saw a bunch of wildlife. We first got in the park and right there across a huge meadow was a herd of Buffalo. They rangers at the entrance were giving out warnings to stay in the cars if there is a buffalo. It was quite funny the buffalo or bison (which ever you call it) would walk right up along the highway. There was even a time we got stalled in the middle of the road because the herd of bison would journey up to the street and just stand in the middle of the road. But after like 20-30 minutes, a ranger finally came and got them out of the way. We took alot of pictures. Here are some of the buffalo. There were also babies. They were cute.

Thursday morning of our trip we were driving at the higher terrain of Yellowstone. It was so pretty. Probably one of my favorite parts of the drive. But anyways, we come around this turn and there are tons of people standing on this hill with there huge cameras and park rangers every where. My dad was like..."OH LOOK AT THIS... It has to be a bear." And sure enough we look up the side of a mountain and clear on the top there was a Momma Grizzly and her cubs. It was so cool. Here is a picture...

Sorry this is long but I there was just alot to talk about. For dinner we went to this place called The Bar J Ranch. Its like 20-28$ a plate. This price gets you a really good dinner and a cool country concert. The band is called the Bar J Wranglers. The food was amazing... I got a rack of BBQ Ribs. SOOOOO GOOOOOD. There was also expensive steak, and chicken, and Beef. You got to choose. The band was cool. (Cousin Haley if you read this I'd have to say I was thinking of you during the concert) Here are some pics. I have some videos but they are being retarded so they will come on a later post. The first picture of the 4 guys were the main people that talked the most. The next one is of a guy in the band that didn't talk much but oh man could he play the guitars and banjo and stuff.

In closing... very great trip. If you have any questions concerning anything whatsoever... Contact Lauren. She is a Junior Park Ranger. Yes the real thing... she deal with the wildlife and can call any wildlife. Give her forest animal and she can call it. She was calling the buffalo, elk, bears, and it ALL WORKED!!!!!!!!!! And she wanted me to say she got a WYOMING hoodie. ( She is OBSESSED with Wyoming) ( I'd bet none of you knew that about Park Ranger Lauren) SO this is really long. I'M DONE>

Off To Yellowstone

Well, the family and myself are heading off to Yellowstone. This will be the first time that I have been there. I am quiet excited because I don't have to work for 4 days. YAHOO! I think that I will go swimming in something like this. It shouldn't be too hot. Or maybe I will ride one of these. (see below) Lauren and I will be filming. You will see videos on monday when we get back.

First I want to apologize... I am a terrible blogger. I finally found that the internet on our computer works great now.

School's out for the summer! I can't believe it... it really feels like we just barely started. WOW. My last day is on friday and I am so excited. I was thinking... what shall I do all summer? I made a list.

Night At The Stapley's

The following is a typical night at the Stapley's home. Natalie and Lauren are bored out of their minds.

Various Events

Hello everyone...sorry it has been awhile. Our home internet has been acting retarded. Some events that have happened...

1-Tuesday Night at about 11pm... I was enjoying the final minutes of the Jazz game (which by the way they won) when all of the sudden... Lauren is behind me. She blows her nose just as her regular routine...all of the sudden... I turn around and her hands are dripping with blood. She had a terrible bloody nose. Good thing I certified my skills. I SAVED HER LIFE!!! She owes me big time. Her nose was bleeding for 30 minutes.

2-Wednesday morning... I am at the pool. I was in a fairly good mood because it was late start day. We didn't have practice till 8 am. It was so nice. Anyways... we are playing polo. I am swimming down the pool beating my defender then all of the sudden there was a turnover and a HUGE elbow came flying down and smacked me in the nose. I had a bloody nose. My nose still hurts. Lauren and I are cursed.

3-Later that afternoon I was at work. It was my responsibility to train a new lifeguard. So we are sitting outside and watching all the little swim brats when all of the sudden Lauren came walkiing over to us. CAN YOU GUESS WHAT HAPPENED? ANOTHER BLOODY NOSE. She wasen't even doing anything. Her nose bled for 2 hours. My dad took her to the doctor. The doctor did some VERY VERY VERY VERY INTERESTING TECHNIQUES. You will just have to ask lauren what the did. She is going to have to do some confessing.

Anyways... on a positive note... here are my new boyfriends. Curtousy of some lady in my ward. I won't mention her name. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE>

LAUREN

This evening... I was just getting a kick out of Lauren who was helping me with my homework. She felt obligated to copy pages out of the reader's digest to give to emily to study out. I am still laughing at this very moment listening to her. WOW!

Your Shirt Is Very Bright

Wow... what a day. I attended two sacrament meetings. I guess you could say that I am on a spiritual high right now. The first meeting was at Day Break. My cousins were blessing there new baby boy, GARY, Monkey, a sac of potatoes...oh wait those are some of his nicknames. His name is Elliot. He is so cute. The testimony meeting was really interesting. First you got the nice spiritual ones. We counted like four people that said..."My Name is sis/bro. ________, and we have been in the ward _______ months" Then we got some people confessing in front of the congragation...saying like the haven't been doing very well in their callings or haven't been coming to church. There was one girl who said that she is going away for 7 months and there won't be a church around. There was one girl who said that she prayed for her brother who was doing stuff on the weekends. Lauren and I were wanted to hear the rest of that story. There was one lady who said out of nowhere in the middle of her testimony that "my husband got me an i-pod and on the back it says To the music of my life. " While observing the atmosphere, there were People who would seriously run in and out of the chapel with the screaming kids. It really nice though. The next best thing to Gary (as they call him) was the good food. I love luncheons after sacrament meeting. The bad thing is that I just ate so much. I am going to get fat. EEEKKKKK. Well, I am going to go and enjoy the rest of my sunday.

YM/YW Frisbee Golf

This evening we had our combine activity for the month. We went to play frisbee golf. I am not going to mention any names so here goes. So we meet together and another YW and I ride with a leader. We were going the wrong way totally. We left first and got there last. IT took us at least 45 mins to an hour to get there. It was quite funny. I don't like the game of frisbee golf to tell you the truth. You stand way far away and you are aiming for this tiny little basket. I was not very good. So this leader and I wanted to play ULTIMATE FRISBEE! I suggested it and the YM leaders actually gave into my idea. It was very funny seeing some of these old guys running around. I bet they are going to be very sore tomorrow. Then we drove home and we were smart enough to follow other leaders so we didn't get lost. We talked about alot of stuff...boys, school, the gospel. Thats one great thing I enjoy about this leader. I don't feel stupid disscussing the gospel with her. I think it is nice to have one person in you life like this. I am really tired right now and am going to attempt to do homework. I am so lazy this year on homework. EEEEEKKKKKK!!!!!

Answering Machines

Don't you just love answering machines. I think that they are the best thing that was ever invented. Especially those days that you have to call people and you really don't wanna talk...you dial there number...it rings....and rings....and rings...then you get that wonderful voice..."hi you've reached the _________ we can't come to the phone right now please leave you name and number and we will be right back with you" I love that wonderful opportunity where you can say what you have to say and then be done with it. SO NICE> Oh yes...GO AMERICAN IDOL>>>GO MELINDA AND JORDIN>>>>

Another Sunday

So... Here we are Sunday April 29 and oh my goodness... It was hotter then heck today. First of all... 10:30 A.M I go outside on my way to special needs sacrament meeting and it is already hott. I get to the ward and it is a sauna in there. I was sitting up on the stand with the rest of the mutual and I was dying up there. Good thing I was wearing a white shirt so you couldn't see my sweat pits. Then I leave the building and it is even warmer out side than it was an hour ago. I drove home blasting the ac in the car and aiming all four vents at different parts on my body. I came home and chilled for a while. Went to my normal ward at one. That chapel was so stinking warm. I thought I was going to die. I was sweating streams. I wasen't feeling too well and came home during sunday school. Today being the 5th sunday... our youth was combined. Again... another hott room. Especially with the stinky boys. Ewwww. I had to sit by the bishop so i was forced to behave. Came home after church and escaped to the basement room. HEAVEN!!! The basement is the place to be if you don't have you ac on yet. Later in the evening... my family journyed out to grandma's house. I love grandma and all but her house was another oven. Summer hasen't even hit us yet!! I am not used to this heat. I was thinking today... How did I survive summer lifeguarding. WOW!!!! I am off the the bedroom downstairs and sleep confortably in the cool basement. CHAO!!!

MORP

So...last night we had MORP. It was pretty fun. My date was hilarious... He was making me crack up the whole night. So for our day date... we went Laser Tagging. It was totally fun. I have never been laser tagging before. I wasn't very good but it was still fun. Then we the girls had an unexpected water polo game against Colorado. That was like the funnest game that I have ever played in. It was funny to have our coach make fun of us all due to the fact that we took our dates. He said if you don't score in the game...you will be sure to score tonight. AHHHHHHHHH. Luckily I scored in the game so I didn't have to score at night. After that game... I had the best chocolate doughnut ever. The frosting just melted in you mouth. Oh...so good!!! For dinner... we had hamburgers and hot dogs. I was way excited for dinner. It sounded so good and tasted so good. We also had the great tasting brownies. I swear that I gained at least 5 pounds. I wasn't too impressed with the dance. The music was terrible. It was just this Rap stuff. I didn't even know half the songs and it was just a bunch of head banging, dirty dancing music. My date and I were disgusted. There was only ONE slow dance. I was disappointed. So my date and I left early and went to Cold Stone. It was good ice cream. His ice cream was huge. He got the biggest size with a waffle bowl. Cotton candy flavored with gummy bears. It was quite funny watching him eat it. Over all though it was a fun day.

Females

I have had a terrible day today. I just have not yet been able to understand the female human mind. Hormones...can anyone explain those to me. Females are very interesting people. I have a couple of females angry at me for simply not talking to them due to the fact that I had nothing to say today. It is quite funny to watch female who think they are in love but it is only infatuation. The there are some that are just so plain and honest..."I am infatuated"Well, hope I haven't scared you too much.

Spiders

So I have been sitting here "blogging" as some would call it and have been turning me head around to keep an eye on this freaky spider. It has just been walking back and forth along the top of the wall against the ceiling. I HATE SPIDERS. I think that it has settled down for the night cause it hasen't stopped moving... hopefully. I think I am becoming braver against spiders. I have lived in the basement for almost a year. Basement kids are just tough bums who can handle all kinds of things. We have had mice down there and such an I have been able to sleep like a log. My grandma gave the families these little thing you plug into the walls that like shoot out these rays that kill spiders. They actually work too! I can't believe it... some weird device that actually works.

SUNDAY MEETINGS

So with spring break last week and stuff... meetings were canceled on sunday. I had 3 meetings today. It was so long. I had one this morning that wasen't bad cause I can handle morning stuff... but right after church while I was enjoying a nice steak and baked potatoes dinner... I got called to duty at the stake center at 4:30. I was there from 4:30 to almost 7 pm. EEEKKK. It was fun to plan stuff that you the reader don't have a clue what I am talking about. But meetings are tough. EXCEPT when you have those great meetings when you get food. Like at me steak meetings today... we got these cookie bars at the camp meeting... then we got these brownie from stake youth comittee. They were pretty good brownies except when the leader mentioned that they were left over from the general young womens broadcast. Eww. I was hungry for chocolate though. Kenzie is a little kid who probably isn't even reading this.
I really love when you get food from church. Especially luncheons like after a Missionary farewell or baby blessing. There is always gooooood food. My favorites is like meat and cheese on mormon rolls. Well, to make a long story... I am having a bit of the sunday night blues.

Sanjaya Malakar, Scissors, and Stuff

I don't even know how in the heck to spell his name. But his name is Sanjaya...he is STILL on American Idol...even when he shouldn't have made it on the the first place. On this very night, I was accused of voting for this terrible singer. I accused by my Young Women leader. (you know who you are cause you are probably reading this). I told her that I have a blog now and she was telling me to blog all this stuff. First of all... American Idol. I believe she said that she is going to hunt down all the Sanjaya voters. She apparently does not like this contestant. For those of you who don't know... this is what he looks like...

Dosen't he just give you the creeps?!?! I was also just listening to the news and they said that he is the most popular search item on the web right now. More popular than Justin Timberlake and Harry Potter they said. UGH...ewwww...

I was also told to blog about scissor cases. Who do you know has a scissors case. I know someone... they have 3 pairs. I don't really know what to write... I was just told to do it. They wise leaders of my ward were telling me that your cool if you have a scissors case.

This has truely been quite the day. I have just not been able to stop laughing all day. It is a great day to be alive. It will be even greater after Saturday when the terrible ACT test is over because then it is MORP!! YAHOO. Speaking of ACT tests... what in tarnation can a soul do to prepare the test? I just don't know. Advice is accepted between the hours of 2-4 am. Thank you and "As Sisters In Zion" That is the motto I live by.

12 Hour Bus Ride=

Well, I just got home from a long trip to New Mexico. It was a water polo tourn. It was fun and all but we drove all the way down there to play Murray in the championships. No offense to Murray, but we could have just played each other here in utah for alot less money.
Now to the bus ride part. Everyone on the bus was cuddling with one another. I was grossed out. EWWWWWWWW!!! I just couldn't believe it! It smelled terrible to the point I wanted to die!!!!!! It smelled like boys!!!!!!ewww. And there were girls who I wouldn't even expect to cuddle with boys i didn't even expect. GROSS!!!!!!!!!! That is all i can say...GROSS

My Favorita

This is my new favorite American Idol contestant. She is going to win the whole season. But Blake is hot. He loves Lauren. He will be in the finals with Melinda. Sanjaya is a creep on heels. I don't know how intarnation he is still there.

Special Needs Mutual

This school year, I have to wonderful opportunity of being a speical needs friend. It truely has been the coolest thing I have ever experienced. This is my friend...(I don't know if I am suppose to say names on this thingy so I won't) she has become one of my best friends. This picture was at the special needs valentines dance. She was really nervous to dance with the boys. She refused to dance only if the boys asked her. We were lucky enough to hook her up with a couple of dances. It is great fun to hang with these special people. They are the coolest people to be with.

4th Quarter

Today is day number one of 4th quarter. I am almost done with my junior year!!!!!!!!! YAHOO!!! My human biology teacher has put up a count down up on the board. 46 days of school left. yesssssssss. I have to say, it was the weirdest thing registering for 12th grade. ewwww....I feel to immature to be an old grumpy senior. I am very excited though. I can hardly wait!!!!
