Dear Gene

Its been exactly one month yesterday that you came out. I don't know how I feel. Doc says your aftermath (aka the scar) is healing nicely. The doctor also commanded me to get a blood test done to see how my hormone levels are since I have been on the medication. It turns out, you were alot stronger than i thought, My levels are LOW! So what happens now? YOu caused us to pay more money to buy MORE medication of a stronger dosage. And how do I know that you aren't causing other things to happen to my body. With the low hormone levels, is that the root cause of dizzy spells? I have also discovered some sort of rash on my legs since about the surgery date, is that caused by you making me stay in the hospital with air-bags and nylon socks on my legs? Why did you have to go Gene? You were functioning fine. You were just a big boy. WHo cares if i had a big neck, at least my hormones were fine. Thanks alot gene-- thanks alot.
Love Natalie

Disneyland/Beach/UCLA

So this past week me and my family actually went on a family vacation. It was AMAZING!!! And sooooo nice to be away from that dumb pool once again. I have missed alot already due to my surgery, but this was a fun excuse. We spent the week in California mainly in Disneyland, with a day off to the beach and a tour of the UCLA university. (thanks to Aunt Judy starting us on this, me and my sisters like to tour Universities and get a sweet tee-shirt). It was a fun week. We have not been to Disneyland since 2003 so I guess you can say it has been a while. Nothing has really changed, the castle seems smaller but it was still magical. :) We spent most of our time in Disneyland. It was awesome- we had to have set the record for going on Pirates the most! My mom has the whole ride memorized. Our family favorite rides in Disneyland were Pirates and Indiana Jones. They were soooo cool. We love splash mountain but we just got soooooo wet on it this time we were miserable. I still wonder why Peter Pan ride is sooo popular. Space Mountain is awesome.
Half way through the week we took a tour up the coast of Calfiornia. Along the famous Highway 1 or Pacific Coast Highway. It was way pretty. We got lost for 3 and a half hours but eventually found our way back to the highway. We worked our way up to the Beverly Hills to visit the famous UCLA University. It was BEAUTIFUL!!! I could almost compare it to the U on how pretty it was. But I still love the U the most. Anyways, we found their bookstore and bought a sweet shirt. We also happen to be there the week that the famous John Wooden past away. For those of you who don't know, he was very famous, won UCLA like 8-10 consecutive National Championships, and also taught his players character and created the pyramid to success. They had a neat memorial for him. It was awesome.
We also visited the famous Santa Monica pier. It was neat, but too many people and kinda a ghetto beach. It was fun because you don't always get to go to the beach but I thought Huntington was prettier (from the car window). Anyways, it was a cool pier. We stalked the beach lifeguards, and Lauren and I almost got sucked out to sea in a wave.
So overall it was an awesome. I think my parents are grateful that they have big kids with jobs to afford a plane ticket. We flew and it was fun. That Los Angles Airport was huge!!! And we tried to see a movie star but no luck-- we flew where normal people fly and not this first class business.
t was a good week, now back to reality and working!!! Here are just a few pics from the journey.
